This Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to organizers, guests, venue staff, event content, display use, links, accounts, and technical access.

1. Content that is never allowed

Do not upload, display, comment, link to, request, encourage, or distribute content that:

  • sexually exploits or endangers a child, depicts child sexual abuse, sexualizes a minor, or facilitates grooming;
  • is non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual extortion, voyeurism, or nudity shared without the legally required consent;
  • credibly threatens violence, suicide, self-harm, stalking, trafficking, or imminent physical danger;
  • promotes terrorism, violent extremist activity, or organized criminal harm;
  • targets a person with severe harassment, hateful abuse, doxxing, or disclosure of highly sensitive personal information;
  • is fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, impersonating, or designed to steal credentials or money;
  • infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights;
  • contains malware, malicious code, unlawful surveillance, or instructions intended to compromise the service; or
  • is otherwise unlawful in the place where it is uploaded, displayed, or used.

2. Permission and privacy

Only share photos and comments you are allowed to share. Obtain permission from identifiable people where law, venue rules, employment rules, contractual duties, or the circumstances require it. Exercise heightened care with minors, medical or religious settings, private homes, employee events, confidential presentations, intoxicated people, and sensitive life events. Do not post passwords, access codes, full payment details, government identifiers, medical information, precise home addresses, or other unnecessary sensitive data.

3. Event access and organizer controls

  • Do not enter an event you were not invited to or forward a private event link beyond the intended audience.
  • Do not guess, harvest, publish, sell, or scrape event links, QR codes, guest sessions, organizer accounts, photos, or albums.
  • Do not bypass moderation, safe-screen, blackout, upload, participant, payment, retention, or subscription controls.
  • Organizers must monitor the live display at an appropriate level for the event and use immediate safety controls when needed.
  • An organizer may not instruct guests to violate this Policy or retaliate against a good-faith safety, rights, or removal report.

4. Technical use

Do not probe, scan, load test, reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, automate access to, or exploit Threvu without prior written authorization, except for good-faith security research protected by law. Do not evade rate limits, create deceptive traffic, introduce malware, access another user’s data, or use the service to operate a competing storage, scraping, surveillance, or content-distribution product.

5. Enforcement

Depending on severity and context, the organizer or Threvu may hide or delete content, stop display, restrict interactions, preserve evidence, warn a user, suspend an event, terminate an account, refuse future service, or notify a rights holder, provider, emergency contact, or authority when legally required or reasonably necessary to prevent serious harm. Child sexual abuse material is removed from access and handled under applicable preservation and reporting duties. We do not promise advance notice when notice could increase danger, compromise an investigation, or violate law.

6. Reports and appeals

For imminent danger, contact local emergency services first. Then submit an urgent safety or removal report with the event and photo reference. Copyright reports follow the Copyright Policy. Privacy and image-of-me requests use the privacy request form. A person affected by an enforcement decision may appeal through the contact form with the original reference and relevant context.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy prospectively as safety risks, the product, or law changes. The version and effective date appear above. A material change will be announced through the service or organizer email when reasonably available.
