What is Threvu?
Everyone’s photos in one private place. Guests scan your QR code, browse and add photos without an app or account. A live display is optional.
What does free include?
Up to 50 guest contributors and 50 accepted photos total, a private gallery, likes, comments, screening, QR code, basic printing, optional live display and organizer download. No credit card or automatic subscription.
When does my free window start?
For events created with the current setup, your window starts when you select Start Event, or at the automatic start time you explicitly configure in the event timezone. Entering a date alone does not start these events. Earlier setups and events retain their recorded opening schedule. Collection and guest gallery access last 30 days; you then have 7 days for organizer-only export before permanent cleanup is due. Preparing a QR code does not start the window.
How often can I create a free event?
One collecting or scheduled free event per verified organizer, and one activation per rolling 30 days.
Does each guest get three photos?
New collection-mode events share a total allowance. Three-shot mode is optional. Existing events keep their original limits.
What happens at the photo limit?
New uploads pause. Accepted photos stay accessible until the viewing deadline, and organizers can export without paying. A paid upgrade keeps the same event and QR and increases its total allowance.
Can I download the photos?
Organizers can export accepted photos while collection is open and during the stated export window. Free exports never require payment.
Do guests need an account?
No. Guests join from the event’s private link or QR code and receive an event-scoped browser session.
Who can see event photos?
The event organizer and people with access to the private event link can see the feed. Approved photos may also appear on the venue display.
How do I remove a photo or request deletion?
Organizers can moderate event photos. Anyone can use the privacy-request form for photo, email, event, account, access, or correction requests.
Which image formats work?
JPEG, PNG, and WebP upload directly. HEIC and HEIF selections are converted to a controlled JPEG in supported browsers before upload.
What internet does the venue need?
Guests and the display need a stable internet connection. Test the event link and display on the venue network before guests arrive.
How do I set up a projector or TV?
Connect a computer to the screen, open the organizer’s live display, enter fullscreen, and keep that device online during the event.
What if I cancel or need a refund?
A one-time event can be fully refunded before it goes live. Venue subscriptions cancel online at the end of the paid period and are not normally prorated. The Refund and Cancellation Policy covers exceptions and billing errors.
Does Threvu use my email for marketing?
No. Event album and organizer completion emails are transactional, and marketing email is disabled.
Can children use Threvu?
Threvu is not offered to children under 13. Guests must be 18+, or 13–17 with permission from a parent or guardian. An adult may show a child an adult-controlled event display, but organizers should not invite children under 13 to access or operate Threvu.
